Survey: Physician Opinions of the American Medical Association
What do real doctors think about the American Medical Association (AMA)?
We surveyed practicing physicians to gather their insights on the AMA, its effectiveness and its place in modern healthcare.
Key insights include:
- 74% said they disagree with the statement "The AMA is a successful advocate for physicians' issues."
- 72% who dropped their AMA membership said they did so because the group "does not speak for practicing physicians."
- Older physicians were most likely to be current members and most likely to renew their memberships.
