Need is primarily for adult outpatient coverage plus some inpatient work. Occasionally, our Doctor will be asked to cover the Client's inpatient unit during the day in addition to sharing in the call schedule for the inpatient unit at the local hospital. Call: One Friday / Saturday / Sunday block each month and one night Monday-Thursday per week on average (Call is shared among all Doctors...the number of Doctors varies). Call is 4:00pm-8am on weekdays by phone from home. Weekend call is Friday 4:00pm- Monday 8am available by phone from home. On Friday / Saturday / Sunday the on-call doctor comes in to the hospital to write notes on inpatients at the Client's 11 bed inpatient unit, and does admits / discharges.
