The Locum Tenens Psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatry services for 10 hours per month at the Client’s outpatient clinic, on the hospital campus, across the street from the inpatient units.
Hours: 8a-5p Monday-Friday.
There are 4 Psychiatrists plus the Locum Tenens Doctor who cover several adult units.
Client wants an adult Psychiatrist who is experienced with chemical dependency / detox.
The Locum Tenens Psychiatrist only does phone consults for week night call.
Never get called back in when on night call.
The Locum Tenens Psychiatrist will provide in-hospital consultations on the Medical/Surgical floor and the ICU; 1 to 2 consults per month.
Client will consider one month minimum assignments, but the longer the assignment the better.

For-profit private psychiatric residential treatment center primarily for eating disorders.
100% adult psychiatry.
The Locum Tenens Psychiatrist will see an average of 16 to 22 patients per day; approximately 1 initial evaluation daily and the remainder medication management.
Length of stay 45 to 90 days.
The Locum Tenens Psychiatrist will do rounds, evaluations, medication management, admissions (won't do physicals for H&Ps) & individual therapy (supportive only – follow up with treatment team & possibly with parents).
Hours: 8a-5p Monday - Friday.
Call is every night Monday - Thursday for our Doctor's own assigned patients & 1 in 5 or 6 for weekends (a weekend is defined as Friday night through Monday morning).
