Adult inpatient, residential & outpatient, plus shared call. CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO DO INPATIENT, OUTPATIENT, AND TAKE CALL. NO EXCEPTIONS.

20 bed acute unit, average census 18

30 bed intermediate unit,average daily census 27-28.

Average combined length of stay of the two units, approximately 90days & 40 patients on a residential unit (patients go to outpatient classes during the day & stay on the unit at night).

The Locum Tenens + 3 other doctors cover the above units + see 5-6 outpatients per day (primarily medication checks with about 1 initial evaluation per week).

Average daily case load is about 7-10 inpatients plus the 5-6 outpatients daily.

Call 1 in 4 for a week at a time with rounds each weekend day but rarely get called back in.

Hours: 7:30am to 4pm, M-F.

Any state license will do.

Must be computer literate.

Reason for the need: Client has a Doctor who is being deployed to Iraq and they have various vacation needs through the end of the year.
