	With 20 primary care physicians and only one Orthopedic Surgeon in a draw area of approximately 80,000 there is too much work to have politics. The need is for general Orthopedics, however; if a candidate has an area of added interest such as Sports, Total Joints or Spine, it is welcomed. Compensation: You will receive a $500,000 salary + a signing bonus, loan forgiveness is also available. Be an employee of the hospital with no administrative hassles. Earn in the top % of your specialty! Malpractice, benefits and expenses are all covered. The practice income right now will place you above your peers in earning. Practice: Overhead below national average by sharing a recently remodeled office space with one other Orthopod where the staff is in place. The existing Orthopod is scheduled in the office all day Tuesday & Thursday and ½ day on Friday. During this time he is seeing 50 to 60 patients during a full day and 20 on Friday. He is in the OR Monday and Wednesday where he is performing at least 10 majors and 15 minors a week. His payer mix is 40% Medicare, 20% Medicaid, 20% Workman’s Comp, and 20% Private Insurance. 1:2 call, the on call physician takes a week and weekend at a time. The primary care physicians do all of the H&P’s and discharge summaries. If it is a fracture where the ER can splint they will keep them in house and send to the office the next day. Our Regional 201 bed hospital is one of the few facilities that can say they are financially stable. We see around 21,000 ER visits a year with NO TRAUMA. Community: This is an area known for its recreational sports such as rock climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, mountain and road cycling, hiking and camping.
