Client is looking for a permanent Neurologist, and is using Locum Tenens as a tool to try out candidates prior to making a decision to hire the Doctor directly for a permanent position with the hospital.
The Locum Tenens-to-Permanent (LTP) candidate will participate in the leadership of a stroke center.
Can be in private practice working for him or herself or an employed relationship is also available.
Client is offering a competitive first year income guarantee plus production bonuses & incentives.
The LTP candidate would cover with another Neurologist in town who wants to slow down his practice but he doesn’t want to bring anyone on with his practice.
Some neurologist hospitalists take ER call.
The LTP candidate will provide do in-house consults and provide follow up care for patients who have already been seen or assessed by SOC doctors for their initial stroke episode or neurologic condition.
The LTP candidate must be experienced with EEGs and EMGs.
Client will consider candidates who are either board certified or board eligible if less than 4 years out of residency.
Primarily adult patient population with occasional adolescents.
