This is a full service position with 1500 cases a year. The hospital has 150 beds, 23 dedicated to ORS and additional space in the children’s ward and the ICU.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility within 4 years of school
BCLS, ACLS and DEA.
Any State License
Two Years Experience Required and must have worked a level 2 trauma facility in last 5 years.

General Orthopedic Surgery locum tenens coverage is needed starting 9-3-2008 until they hire a permanent candidate. Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible. A commitment of an initial 8 weeks in necessary with long term extension desirable. Clinic hours are 8a-5p with a break for lunch. Will see approximately 25-30 patients per day. The call will be 1:5.
