Physician duties: Work 8 hour shift - 8am-5pm then on call for 16 hours. Rounding on 12-14 patients per day but sometimes could go up to 18 patients per day. Will Round in the 5 bed ICU so some vent management required. Admitting about 6-7 patients per day. May have to run some codes but ED department is present. 	Board Certified Internist needed for June, July and August. Hospitalist position located an hour north of Albuquerque. This area is noted for its beautiful cliffs and ghost towns. If you want to have an adventure in beautiful northern New Mexico, this is the contract for you. The work schedule: Days are 8am-6pm and nights are 6pm-7am. We also offer a mid shift from 2pm-12am. Typical schedules are 7 on 7 off, but they may vary to 6 on 4 off. The Hospitalists will round in the 50 bed med/surg and 6 bed ICU. Vent management is required. Doctor will respond to codes. Doctor will round on about 10-15 patients per day. This is an opportunity that is open now. Will need vessel pressure and vent management. Three different schedules the doctor can work: 7am-5pm; 9am-7pm or 7pm-7pm.
