VAMC North Carolina has immediate need for on-site CRNA services. The CRNA is authorized to perform routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed after specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The CRNA works with an anesthesiologist in the performance duties. The CRNA is authorized to perform emergency duties for patients with life-threatening situations where a physician is not immediately available and initiates these activities and makes every effort to summon a physician as soon as possible.

Updated Shot record

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am to 3 pm: providing outpatient anesthesia, in the hospital’s OR
CRNA will administer induction agents; insert central venous catheters, arterial catheters & epidural catheters, spinal anesthesia, plexus blocks & any other regional anesthesia blocks, occasionally to include Thoracic, Obstetric, & Pediatric – rarely trauma.
CRNA will be medically directed by the Anesthesiologist 90% of the time.

Client needs three to four CRNA's to start working July 1st and ongoing. This is a Locum Tenens/Permanent opportunity.
• 350 Beds.
• Eight operating rooms in main facility. Four operating rooms in Surgery Center. (Candidates rotate between both facilities.)
• Eight MD's and six CRNA's on staff.
• General Anesthesia Only. Anesthesiologists handle OB.
• Monday – Friday.
• No Nights/ No Weekends/ No Call.
Once a perm contractor: position is for 8 hour shifts Monday – Friday, with no nights/weekends/or call. Salary is $137,500 with 28 days PTO; health insurance paid by employer; Retirement Plan and Profit plan.
